Mountain Chipmunk

The mountain chipmunk (Neotamias amoenus), also known as the yellow-pine chipmunk, is a small, agile rodent native to mountainous regions of western North America. It thrives in coniferous forests, alpine meadows, and rocky slopes, particularly in elevations ranging from 2,000 to 11,000 feet.
